“What would life be without the imperfect subjunctive ... ?” Alexander Vialatte

Motorhome interior photo

I’m down under! So well done that I didn't have time to sit in front of the computer for a moment – that of Mr., long live the azerty keyboards, eh eh ! So this Monday morning I'm giving you a little retrospective and I'm taking care of modifying the articles from Singapore.

Saturday morning, hard to wake up at 5:30 a.m., direction Changi, even at this time it's heavy ! Airport catchphrase : registration, passport control, boarding. The journey is short, five o'clock, next to the first flight.

One hour difference between Singapore and Perth, it's almost 4 p.m. when I set foot on Australian soil, after completing a questionnaire – no I don't plan to get involved in terrorism… And, and, they ask ! – have passed in front of an anti-drug dog and a minimum of three customs officers… My other half is here to welcome, with Mr.. Big ! Let’s rock! Where is the heat of Singapore ? It's very good, almost cost.

We are going to 5, Montrose Street where I meet Brice, a former roommate, who we talk to, finally especially Monsieur and me, and him with Brice. I understand more or less well but from there to discussing happily there is a big step.

In the late afternoon, the three of us go to the nearest shopping center to have a drink, before my first night in Mr. Big. Short since I got up at 6 a.m. to pick up my cousin. A good nap until 1:30 p.m., a few races in the afternoon and a short film in the evening… and it is limply lying in Mr. Great that I give you news.

How good it is to do nothing !

  1. Cuckoo,
Always a pleasure for us to follow your wanderings. The feeling of setting foot in such a distant country must be, something that must be difficult to explain. On the other hand, finding your other half after so long, that I can imagine ;-).
With the photos, plus it gets even better.. super cool. It's still, super nice of you to take the time to share. Promis, for Christmas I'm making you a photo report to send back the elevator.
Also nice to have us work on our international geography, as well as time zones.
To finish, a small technical question : Is there a way to stop the man in the hat from singing every time we change pages on this blog? ? The song “the lady” is certainly nice, mais il l’a reprend systématiquement a chaque refresh de la pageBon quand le son est coupé forcement ça va, mais sinon je culpabilise de toujours l’interrompre 😉
    Profitez profitez
