Doucettement awakened by the chirping of jays (it changes the dump trucks or vans sirens cleaning ! ), we breakfast lunch in the shade of pines before returning to Cotignac to see closer ruins and caves that run the cliff dominated by the remains of two feudal towers. Off season, visiting the caves (2 EUR) is only open in the afternoon - we encourage anyway free activities ! - We therefore limit ourselves to small paths foot cliff where alternate private houses and small excavations (some use as a garage ! ) before starting to attack the Saracen towers under a blazing sun.

Charmed by this peaceful village, we leave behind us all the same to ride to the lake and Carcès, with a detour Thoronet Abbey you will only see the sign because 7,5 euros visit… !

Installed at the lake (almost ! ), We spend the late afternoon to drink tea "as there" and eat some strawberries from the garden of our neighbors motorhome, Moroccan him, German it and playing the guitar.

  1. I'm still in the corner until the music festival. We had finally cast off the 16, but Ronald has found a date that pays for the 21 therefore (!), I'll talk to him Museum. 😉
  2. Ah Carcès 🙂
And pictures of weather. It reassures me to see elsewhere in France one is in June and not in November.
Mais WTF ? 7,50 the visit of the abbey ? Ok they need dosh for archaeological excavation and reconstruction, but still… Beee I remembered that it was not so expensive. And I feel I have ALWAYS been the abbey under the ropes !
Brief, damage to Lorgues, if I had known, I have advised you in advance to visit the museum Rob Jullien (free) resistor of Veuve sa, in the old mill village. Templar and mystical ambience to perfection !
